Drains need the right slope, supply lines need solid connections, and every valve needs to sit exactly where the finished wall will be. Mistakes here are expensive to fix once the tile goes up.
Whether you’re working with a general contractor or running the project yourself, Artisan’s licensed plumbers handle the plumbing from rough-in to the final fixture. And if you’d like one team to take on more of the project, we also have our own construction crew on staff for work like floor replacement, cabinetry installation and wall refinishing.

Keeping the layout or changing it?
Updating in place
New fixtures in the same spots use the existing drains and supply lines. It’s the simpler, less expensive path, and a good time to replace worn shut-off valves and old connectors.
Changing the layout
Moving a toilet, relocating a shower or adding a second sink means new drain, vent and supply lines. It takes more planning, and it’s the kind of work that usually needs a permit and inspection.
Open walls are an opportunity
A remodel is the easiest time to fix what’s hidden. With the walls and floor open, we can replace aging supply lines, add shut-off valves where there weren’t any, and check the drains for slow spots before they become a problem. In older homes around Enumclaw, that one visit can head off the next leak.
Enough hot water for the new bathroom
A deep soaking tub or a shower with multiple heads can use more hot water than your current water heater was sized for. If you’re upgrading, we’ll look at your water heater too. As a Rinnai-trained dealer, we can also talk through a tankless water heater for hot water that doesn’t run out.

Often, yes. Remodels that add, move or replace plumbing fixtures commonly need a plumbing permit and an inspection. The rules depend on your city or county and the scope of the work, so we’ll tell you what your project needs before it starts.
Can you convert a tub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. We plumb tub-to-shower conversions, including walk-in and roll-in showers. The drain usually has to be relocated or resized for a shower, which is part of the plumbing work.
Can you make a bathroom more accessible?
Yes. We retrofit bathrooms for accessibility and ADA needs, with roll-in showers, comfort-height toilets, handheld shower heads and easier-to-use faucets and controls.
